These terms apply when you activate a website preview we built for you (the “Service”), supplied by Better Leads Marketing (“we”, “us”). By ticking the agreement box on the activation page and completing payment, you (the “Client”) accept these terms. No separate signature is required; your tick and payment form the agreement.
We already built your website and sent you a preview of it. Activating it means we put that site live and then host and look after it. Work included:
What you saw is what you get. The preview is the actual site. It was written from what you told us on our form and from public information about your business. We create a wordmark from your business name and use illustrative imagery of the kind of work you do; when you send your own logo or photographs, we replace ours.
Going live. After you activate, we register the domain and put the site live, normally within two business days, and text you the live link. Anything on the preview that is wrong, or that you want worded differently, tell us and we correct it — before or after it goes live.
The free preview. The preview is free. No card is taken to get it, it stays up for 14 days from when we send it, and it is taken down after that unless you activate it. Changes you ask for by text during the preview are made on the preview, free; while you are still asking for changes we keep it up for at least 7 days after your latest request, even if that runs past the 14 days. Asking for, looking at or changing a preview costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
What is not switched on in the preview. The preview is the complete site, but four things only change at activation, so that nothing goes public before you have approved it:
Activating switches those four over. It does not change the pages, the wording or the design — what you previewed is what goes live.
You agree that the information you gave us is accurate, and that you will tell us when something material changes (phone number, services, service area). We do not publish opening hours or prices unless you give them to us.

In US dollars. You pay $99 when you activate — a one-time $50 setup fee plus your $49 first month — and $49 each month after that on the same date until you cancel. The setup fee is charged once and does not recur. One standard domain name is included in the monthly fee.
You authorise us to charge the payment method you provide, on that schedule, until you cancel. If a payment fails we may retry it and may suspend the Service until it clears.
You may cancel at any time by emailing us or by texting us at the number we use to reach you. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have already paid for; we do not pro-rate part-months.
When the subscription ends, hosting ends with it and the site stops being served. There is no exit fee and no minimum term. We give you the files of your site at once — the pages, your text, logo and photographs, ready to put on any web host — and we transfer the domain name we registered for your site to you, free. Under domain registration rules a newly registered domain cannot be transferred for its first 60 days, so if you leave before then, the transfer is made once those 60 days have passed.
Your content, your business. Your logo, your photos and your text remain yours throughout and afterwards, and so does the domain name of your site: it is transferred to you, free, when you leave (see section 4). The underlying build and hosting platform are ours.
After you activate — never before — we register a domain name for the site, chosen from your business name. We hold it in our registrar account while you subscribe and transfer it to you, free, when you leave. If you already own a domain you would rather use, tell us and we will point it at the site instead — that domain stays yours.
Imagery we supply is illustrative of the kind of work you do and is not presented as photographs of your own jobs; the wordmark we create is yours to keep. Both are replaced by your own logo and photographs when you send them.
We are straight about this because the alternative causes arguments later:
What we do promise is that the work listed in section 1 gets done properly and keeps being done for as long as you subscribe.
Content changes are included in the monthly fee — the ordinary running changes any business needs. What is not included is a second website, a rebuild to a different design once yours is approved, or bespoke software such as e-commerce, booking systems or customer logins. We will quote those separately before doing any of them.
If you already have a website we do not edit, migrate or host it. We build a new site and your existing one is left as it is, for you to keep or close. Pointing an existing domain name you own at the new site is included once you give us access to do so.
You confirm you are authorised to act for the business, that the business is real and operating where you say it is, and that you hold the rights to any logo, photos and text you choose to give us. We will not publish material that is not yours to publish, and we will end the Service if we discover that it was not.
Our total liability under these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost business.
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will tell you before it takes effect, and continuing to pay after that date means you accept the change.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, and the courts of Clark County, Nevada have exclusive jurisdiction.
